It's the end of the world as we know it....

What I'll miss when it all comes apart.

1) Advil Liquid Gels - Food of the Gods - Folks at work know my pill crush I have on these.
2) Movies - God, I hope The Hobbitt is released before it hits. Yes, I'm a fantasy fiction geek!
3) TGI Friday's - In there it's always Friday.
4) Recomposing and Laziness - I'll be too busy keeping alive and repopulating the world (THIS LAST BIT IS FOR YOU SWEATY)

What will you miss? Comments Please.

  1. I think I would miss:
    1) The internet. Like, we'd have to actually wait for information. Weird.
    2) Movies - agreed. I'm an addict.
    3) Paying money for things. In my end of the world scenario, we revert to a barter system. That wouldn't work out too well for m, I have no skills that would produce tradeable goods (and I really don't think I'd like to join "the oldest profession").
    4) People makin shit for me -- like shoes. Coffee. Cheese. Not having to kill my food.

Starting my own blog here, BTW. It's experimental. Name should be linked.

  2. The positives to the question:
    1) People actualy talking to people.
    2) People learning how to write again in full words (not shortened txt words)
    3) More people spending their free time interacting with people not gadgets

  3. Hmmm, good question. What WOULD I miss the most? And, do you want the snarky answer, or the "I'll really miss it answer"? Okay - going with the "really miss it answer"...

A.) popsicles. (assuming no electricity) dang, I think it's gonna be hard to live without the Edy's whole fruit strawberry!

2.) The washing machine - the thought of trying to wash clothes by hand. Ewww.

3.) Being able to pick up the phone and hear a friends voice, no matter how far away they are.
